On January 12, 2010 an earthquake devastated Haiti, causing death and destruction in that

country which is one of the poorest in the world.
Transfer a small portion of your bankroll to an NGO, here is a simple initiative to mark your solidarity as a poker player. The poker rooms PokerStars invites you to donate directly on their site.

If you are logged on PokerStars, the online poker room has established a fund to help Haiti, whose principle is that every dollar contributed by players will be donated equally by PokerStars to the organization Red Cross  .
To donate nothing more simple: You can donate any amount you choose, as a transfer to an account established for this purpose. The account is named Haiti Fund. To make this donation appointment in the lobby of the PokerStars software, select the menu "Applications" then "Transfer Funds". Choose the amount of your gift and enter "Haiti Fund" in the name of the recipient count. A window will ask you to confirm payment.
Careful to spell the name of the account since several small smart idea will probably create accounts with similar names to divert donations. If the confirmation window looks exactly like this one below, you can confirm the transfer.
