WSOP 2009: The outtakes
The ball
stunned We can not say it enough: to be successful at
poker you must stay focused. A council not really followed by Scott
Kittle opponent during a heads-up to accession to the next round at the
Event 50 Shoot-out. In the decisive hand, the loser will be inattentive
in effect laid his hand when the flop showed the straight A-2-3-4-5 ...
which entitled him to half the pot.
Even misadventure
but better fortune for another player at the Event 51. While the shot was
fired belt and the first player had returned a pair of aces, the second
cast directly own and discarded, but a nice pair of kings. But a dealer
zealous though based on the settlement went hand in defeat despite the
protests of his opponent ... He had perhaps felt the wind come ... that
of a king who has cruelly decided to appear at the River.
One other charlot Finishing third in
a tournament is down to 300 thin chips (for a starting stack of 4500) is
not an easy task. In any case, what made Joseph Chaplin in the Event 54
No Limit Hold'em. A shot at fame. But the friend Joseph did not need,
however, show its name from its relationship with the famous actor
Charlie Chaplin.
Oh and do not!
We knew some of stars arriving later and later to
take their seats and begin their part, sometimes to the point of
disrupting the early tournaments, but the unspeakable Phil Hellmuth has
made this time even louder (and this time the matter will hard to beat):
enter a tournament and not attending. A rabbit may seem trivial, until we
remember that we are talking about a $ 2,000 tournament entry (event 55).
The chips have finally come to be withdrawn from the tournament. As for
Phil, the story does not say whether the party has at least been
good.
No hands In the
autobiographical account of its 50 most outstanding hands, 50/50 Poker,
Doyle Brunson had already confessed to having managed to win once ...
Unmapped. Scotty Nguyen has failed to know the same story, at his expense
this time during the Event 56. Being reraised by a player on the button,
the spirited American decided to pay, before seeing his opponent with
amazement claim his second card to the dealer. The carpet snapshot Nguyen
a harmless flop finally concluded the case, leaving Scotty leaves a
little fright. He then launched into a humorous effect to the others that
the case would have been the most embarrassing moment of his 27 year
career if he lost once against a player with one card. Sacred Scotty,
even unintentionally, always make the show! |
